Planting and BeautificationOur dream is to hear the song of the Tui in our neighbourhood by inviting neighbours to plant trees on street verges. This is in partnership with Auckland Council Ngāhere Team.
So far we have planted over 100 trees on the street verges around the neighbourhood. (use this photo please)

Rewa PacA weekly programme for intermediate and high school girls – a place to belong, grow, and learn about Jesus. |
Bible StudyA weekly gathering where whole families share kai, waiata, and kōrero around the Bible together. |
Mahi KaiMahi Kai is about growing and sharing kai together. It starts with listening, noticing what people already bring, and walking alongside whānau as they create their own raised vegetable gardens. We offer tools, encouragement, and shared knowledge, but the gardens belong to the people who tend them. Over the 2025/26 year, we will journey with 20 whānau to grow 20 flourishing gardens, with some including worm farms that turn food scraps into nutrient-rich soil for vegetables and trees alike. |
Neighbourhood PartnershipsUNOH values partnership as a vital part of neighbourhood transformation. These partnerships take many forms—one of the most significant being our work alongside the Randwick Park Residents Association. This local group helps ensure the voices of residents are heard and taken seriously by decision-makers.
Check out this Breakfast Show interview, which played a key role in securing 23 new speed bumps (a $1.2 million investment) to improve safety on our neighbourhood streets.
