UNOH Apprentice, Clendon Park
Kara Mirvic brings a quiet strength and a heart full of love to her neighbourhood. Whether it’s baking a cake, lending a listening ear, or simply being present, Kara has a unique gift for making people feel safe, seen, and deeply valued.
She’s currently in her first year as a UNOH apprentice, living and serving in Clendon Park alongside Faye and Steve Molen—the same neighbourhood where their local Salvation Army church is based. Kara is married to Mescha, and together they raise a blended family of five children (Kara, feel free to confirm or adjust this detail).
Kara’s faith in Jesus is central to her life. Having walked through her own share of life’s struggles, she has found healing and belonging through her relationship with Jesus and her connection with the wider Salvation Army whānau. That journey has stirred in her a passion to walk alongside others facing tough times—offering friendship, compassion, and hope.
Drawn to the intentional, grounded lifestyle of UNOH, Kara is exploring what it means to follow Jesus in community, asking deep questions and embracing the rhythm of life that UNOH encourages. Her presence is a real gift to Clendon Park and to our UNOH whānau.
